Consulting Services
The Research Center for Civil Society aims to empower civil society organizations to use reliable data to inform their strategies and programs to tackle pressing societal challenges. In doing this, we not only provide training (Introductory webinar series and the Impact Navigator Masterclass) to increase your CSO’s capacity, but we also offer specialized research and impact measurement consultation services.
The Center’s interdisciplinary team has already helped CSOs to conduct research (RDFN – Giving of the Romanian Diaspora) and to measure the impact of their programs or organization (AmpliFY ONG) and we continue supporting new clients every day (MozaiQ – Mapping the LGBTQ CSO ecosystem; FFCR – The impact of the Stiintescu program; ARC Romania – Collective impact in education).
Our tailored services have the needs of your CSO at their heart! From conceptualization to research design, through data collection and analysis, to sensemaking and integrating results in their everyday practice, our team shapes the process based on the needs and interests of your CSO and your key stakeholders.
Our services center around 2 key areas: research and impact measurement.
Research
- Fundamental research is aimed at understanding the CSO environment, its constituents and stakeholders, the inner workings of the CSO sector, the motivations for philanthropic giving, etc.
- Applied research is aimed at solving a particular problem / answering a specific question for an NGO.
Impact Measurement:
- Whether you need to demonstrate impact to your institutional or corporate funder, or you need to gather evidence to support your fundraising efforts from individuals, or you want to improve your intervention, we are ready to help! By applying internationally recognized frameworks adapted to the individual needs and context of your CSO, and using both quantitative and qualitative methods we provide you with the data and insights needed to achieve your objectives!
- Our Impact Audit process was designed to give you an accurate picture of where you stand in the Impact Measurement and Management process, to tailor your data collection efforts (avoiding collecting too much data, or data that is irrelevant or even inaccurate), to align your measurement efforts with what truly matters to your mission/objectives and to lay the groundwork for a functional, flexible, and relevant Impact Measurement and Management framework.
We work with CSO-friendly budgeting, offering solutions that fit the constraints of the civil society sector, while keeping rigor and standards high! See how we have helped others and what they think about working with us, below!
